Hiriwaduna Village Trek
The Hiriwaduna Village located in Habarana is a simple three hour experience with jungle and village walks. The use of a catamaran to cross a lake/stream is an exhilarating experience which includes breakfast at a villager’s house. This trek is coupled with a bullock cart ride - all in a natural environment. Water Rafting
Kitulgala was the film location of David Lean’s masterpiece “The Bridge on the River Kwai”. Today, Kitulgala is an excellent area for adventure activities including Mountain Biking, Birding and of course White Water Rafting.
Our White Water Rafting programme is a 1 to 2 hour excursion on the Kelani River. The short but exhilarating excursion is ‘Level 3’ and is suitable for most people between the ages of 8 and 60. The excitement and adrenaline serge experienced while sitting in a 6 or 8 man raft and being completely at the mercy of the rapids can only be expressed as unforgettable.

Whale & Dolphin Watching
Sri Lanka has over 26 species of Cetaceans resident in the waters which surround the island. Blue Whales (the largest mammals on earth) and Spinner Dolphins are among the special highlights. Though these amazing animals are resident around Sri Lanka, the monsoon whether pattern only allows sea excursions between the months of November & April. During this time Whale Watching can be done as a day excursion while at the beach off the coasts Galle, Mirissa or Kirinda. While dolphins may be spotted at any one of these locations, the best place to spot Spinner Dolphins very close to shore is off the west coast in Kalpitiya approximately 50 km north of Negombo.

Hot Air Balloons
We operate the hot Air-ballooning in Sri Lanka through Adventure Asia International which is the first and only commercial operation in the country and flies with an Airline Operators Certificate (AOC) issued by Civil Aviation. Operating daily from Kandalama, the flights operate early morning (approx 0630 hrs) where we provide transfers to all our clients from their respective hotels to the site.
The flight is not conducive for travel between June and September Due to strong winds and occasional monsoon rains. As such flights are operated at the beginning of October and run through to May. Please note that advance booking is required.
